About Samantha Smith.

Samantha is a registered psychologist who is passionate about supporting adolescents and adults through life’s challenges with warmth and empathy and takes a relaxed approach to therapy. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in individual therapy and in group contexts, across private and community settings. Samantha’s areas of interest include women’s health, relationships and interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem and confidence, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, career uncertainty, and adjustment difficulties. Samantha also has experience conducting psychological assessments including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and specific learning disorders.

Samantha draws from a range of evidence-based techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-based approaches, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of her clients. She strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space to work collaboratively to support you in achieving your personal goals. Whether you are seeking support for a specific concern or simply looking for guidance through a challenging time, Samantha hopes to support you to navigate the complexities of life with compassion and care.
