About Samantha Smith.

Samantha is a registered psychologist who is passionate about supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges with warmth and empathy. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her areas of interest include women’s health, relationships and interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem and confidence, anxiety and stress, emotional regulation difficulties, career uncertainty, and adjustment difficulties. Samantha is particularly passionate about working with couples to improve communication, navigate conflict, and build stronger connections within their relationships.

She also has experience conducting psychological assessments, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and specific learning disorders.

Samantha draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness-based approaches, and has also completed Level 2 Training in the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of her clients.

She strives to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can work collaboratively towards their personal goals. Whether clients are seeking support for a specific concern or looking for guidance during a challenging time, Samantha aims to help them navigate life’s complexities with compassion and care.
