Clara is the clinic director of GCPC and a registered psychologist who has completed a masters level education in clinical psychology. She focuses on providing a warm, non-judgmental, thoughtful and safe therapeutic space in order to support clients. Clara uses an integrative approach to individually tailor treatment plans that best meet her clients’ needs, build on existing strengths, and promote insight and overall health and wellbeing.
Clara has experience working with adults and adolescents in individual therapy, and in group contexts, across a range of private, community, and residential treatment settings.
Clara enjoys working with adolescents and adults with a broad range of concerns. These include, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, emotional regulation difficulties, adjustment issues, and other psychological difficulties.
She integrates a range of evidence-based modalities in her treatment including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness-based approaches.
