Brittany is a registered psychologist with extensive experience supporting adolescents and adults. She has a particular interest in helping clients navigate the unique psychological challenges and life transitions that arise during the early formative years. Passionate about fostering growth and healing, Brittany creates a safe, supportive space for clients to explore and process unresolved childhood trauma that may be affecting their present wellbeing. With a compassionate and empathetic approach, she empowers individuals to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and thrive in their personal and emotional journeys.
Brittany lives with type 1 diabetes and has completed two marathons to raise awareness about living with chronic illness. She has as keen interest in working with clients who are adjusting to life with chronic illness and helps to recognise psychological barriers to managing health conditions. Brittany also has extensive experience working with neurodivergent teenagers and adults, particularly those with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Her compassionate and personalised approach empowers clients to navigate their unique challenges and build fulfilling, resilient lives.
Brittany’s therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on a range of evidence-based modalities to best support her clients’ needs. She incorporates techniques from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Polyvagal Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and behavioural strategies. This tailored approach helps clients effectively work toward their goals, promoting healing, resilience, and personal growth.
