Chris is a Clinical Psychologist who holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology. He has several years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan experiencing a range of psychological difficulties including anxiety, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma-related issues, emotion regulation problems, and neurodevelopmental disorders including intellectual and learning, attention deficit/hyperactivity, and autism spectrum disorder.
Chris has a strong interest and experience in diagnostic psychological and cognitive assessment, and therapeutically, practices primarily within Cognitive-Behavioural, Acceptance and Commitment, Schema, and Attachment frameworks. Chris is passionate about working collaboratively with adolescents and adults with a warm, non-judgemental, strengths-based approach to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing and life satisfaction.
In addition to his clinical work, Chris provides supervision to provisionally registered psychologists, has published peer-reviewed research, and presented at national research conferences. Chris’ doctoral research contributed to understanding of different types of Dyslexia and visual processing factors contributing to individuals’ capacity for remediation from Dyslexia.
